Students in the Griffin-Spalding County School System are offered unique learning opportunities through school volunteers recruited by Partners in Education. We invite you to become a volunteer to contribute to public education in our community.

Background Check for Volunteers Form
The background checks are good for 5 years. 

In order to provide even safer schools, the Griffin-Spalding County School System requires all our volunteers who work with or around students to complete an application and authorize a criminal background check. The Griffin-Spalding County School System is strengthening the safety measures for students, and this process is one of those measures.

Whether you have been a volunteer in the past or are new to school volunteering, we urge you to complete the application and authorization of release of criminal information as soon as possible. Please return it at a school. We will process it and send to our Human Resources Department to complete the authorization.

We value your contribution to education and look forward to your working with students.  Even if your schedule keeps you from volunteering right now, please complete the application process and be ready to join the school volunteer team when the time is right for you.
